TREADMILL
A physical therapy treadmill program is a customized rehabilitation plan that uses a treadmill as a tool to help patients improve mobility, strength, and endurance. These programs can range from traditional treadmill use to specialized anti-gravity treadmills that reduce body weight, allowing for earlier and safer exercise for patients recovering from surgery or injury. A therapist selects the appropriate speed, incline, duration, and other variables to meet the patient's specific needs.
